Lucky #1: Education and Death.

“Learn all of the knowledge and know how to use the skills.  Then you can create art.”

That statement feels wrong.  We can hear the echoes of falsity ring behind it.

Can education itself be the art?  It can.  A focus on the fostering of skills and knowledge will unstop the creative flow when it’s oh so backed up inside.

I have art in my life.  Artists have given me the gifts of their skills.  They create and give every day, and their creations stick around.  The powerful ones even more so.  And sometimes this art feels perfect for me.  Somedays the art you come across will feel perfect for you too.

I never practice for fear that my creations will be mediocre.  When my practice and education is the creation, different things happen inside.  The acts will be recognized differently.

Different is very good.  Different means change.  Change is death.  Death blooms.
